Our Trip to the Pumpkin Patch

We had a great time at Disney World this past week. Unfortunately, Chris left this morning for his deployment. I already miss him. I don't enjoy the weekends too much - without him here. Here are some photos from our trip.

CHRISTMAS DAY

We had a wonderful Christmas this year. Haley was old enough to open presents although she did get bored with it. We had a wonderful reflective Christmas morning to remind our girls of the true meaning of Christmas. Whitney was able to participate in our church's Singing Christmas Tree this year. She did a wonderful job at each performance. I didn't take many photos this year.

Below is Haley asleep still on the couch. Chris and I were excited to start opening presents with the girls but we just couldn't get Haley to wake up at all.

Here is Whitney all bright eyed. She is anxiously awaiting permission to begin opening her presents.

Haley opening up her twin dolls and is still very tired yet she is managing to give them the attention they need.

After lunch Haley needed a bath. She was not happy at all.

Here are some pictures of the girls taken after we put our Christmas tree up.

Here are some photos of the new flooring that we put down. This was so needed considering the hideous carpet that was in the house when we moved in and Haley's allergies. Chris worked really hard putting this in. He used all of his vacation time just to do this (he didn't play video games at all). How awesome is he. He is such a hard worker. Not to mention he also made time for Haley by letting her stay home with him a couple of days.

Below is a photo of our hallway at our front door. This was after ripping up the carpet, priming the walls to cover up the old color, and stripping the popcorn off of the ceiling

The next photo is the new wall color. We are doing a two tone blue and we are going to install a chair rail where the two colors meet.

This photo is our almost finished product. Chris and I got a new light so that this hall and the hallway to the girls' rooms match. next we need to put down the new baseboards and chair rail. I can't wait to see how it is going to look.
