Hi Everyone. Whitney and I made it Jacksonville to watch Chris's ship, the USS Gettysburg come in. That was an awesome experience. It was amazing being able to see him and hold him after 3 long months of emails and only a few phone calls. I am so blessed to have him in my life.

Over the next week Whitney and I are staying here in Jacksonville so we can have some quality time together. This was our first Christmas together and it was great sharing that time together. Whitney got just what she wanted, an Auburn Cheerleader outfit.

I hope that we get a little more familiar with Jacksonville by the end of the trip because I really need to figure this town out before we move here. lol We love you all and hope that your Christmas was an awesome family day for all of you and that this next year is full of wonderful Blessings to Come.

Well I have an appointment on January 06 to go with my girlfriends to look at wedding dresses. I know that I want something very simple. I'm not a poof.. poof... dress kind of girl. I'm too old to need that fairy tale wedding. I think that I'm grasping the reality too much for that at my age.

My reality is that God is faithful. Eventhough I have made mistakes and have been engaged ?? before - I always knew that I would be settling until now. I waited for that one guy that I knew was out there that God had waiting for me. God gives you your fairy tale but its up to you to make it come true and to keep the fairy tale (romance) alive.

My fairy tale???? - - just ask my sister Hope - - It's finding the GUY who can put up with me. lol
